I treat your (and my own) privacy very seriously. I do not sell data to anyone regardless of the price offered.
For privacy reasons, email is stored on a rented server, not with a free provider (e.g. Gmail). Regardless, email you send can be read by your email host (e.g. Google). The only way to avoid this is to use end-to-end encryption.
I digitally sign and encrypt my email with open-source OpenPGP technology, using the public key below. Instructions for encryption and validation of digital signatures are available in the Email Self-Defense guide.
For video calls, I use open-source web app Jitsi Meet (if using a mobile device, install Jitsi app for Android or iOS).
At request, I am also willing to use open-source apps, that support end-to-end video call encryption, such as various XMPP clients, qTox, and Jami.
I only use proprietary solutions like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco Webex, when no other option is available.
